What is BlockScape?
BlockScape is a free, browser-based voxel MMO — no download, no install, no plugins. Sign in as a guest in one click or link a Discord account to save your progress, then drop straight into a shared 3D world with players from around the globe.
The game blends the skill-leveling loop of a classic online RPG with the voxel sandbox feel of block-based building. Mine ore, fight monsters, chop wood, smelt bars, smith gear, socket gems, claim a building plot, and trade with other players — all from a single browser tab on your desktop.
Train Four Skills
Every action you take in BlockScape earns XP toward one of four skills. There’s no class to pick — level whichever skills you enjoy and your build follows naturally.
Mining
12 ore types across 8 tiered mines, from copper to dragonstone. Higher tiers drop rarer gems.
Combat
8 monster types across dedicated zones — goblins, dragons, giants, dark mages, and more.
Woodcutting
9 unique forests, each with their own tree types and logs feeding into smithing recipes.
Smithing
Smelt ore into bars at the furnace, then hammer out 70+ weapon and armor recipes.
Gems, Sockets & Permanent Stat Bonuses
BlockScape collects 28 gem types across 6 rarity tiers. Every ore you mine has a chance to drop one, and every piece of gear you forge has sockets waiting to be filled. Slot a gem into a weapon or armor piece and the bonus is permanent — your build becomes a record of the rare drops you’ve earned and the choices you’ve made.
Trade, Build, and PvP
Every trade in BlockScape is server-validated — no duped items, no fake economy. Trade gear with other players, claim a personal building plot to design your own corner of the world, or step into the dedicated PvP arena and risk your inventory for the rush. Death drops a percentage of what you’re carrying, so every fight matters.
